Required:
Must have a solutions-based mindset / leadership mindset. They’re not looking for a wallflower who is waiting on instructions, this person needs to take charge of their role.
Must have strong communication skills (verbal and written) as this is heavily client-facing.
Must have global experience (working with global teams / stakeholders, working with global-facing systems).
Must have a technical, hands-on background within IT (experience troubleshooting systems and/or applications, products, etc.).
Preferred:
GXP experience is nice to have, not required.
Former AbbVie experience is nice to have, not required.
Additional Notes:
Open to less than the 8-10 years of experience so long as the candidate has the right experience.
Degree is required.
If there are two identical candidates, would give preference to a former AbbVie resource if they have a solid recommendation.
Project:
Will be overseeing the troubleshooting and management of a portfolio of applications at AbbVie ranging from GXP applications to global systems. This resource will be client-facing and working heavily with stakeholders, vendors, helpdesk, and internal resources.
Working within their Global Facilities Management space (overseeing CAD systems, GXP applications and systems, POS (point of sales) systems, and various global-facing applications and tools).
This resource will be responsible for making sure projects that are in-flight are on track and will also be responsible for acting as the escalation point for these applications and systems.
Applications / systems: CAD systems, mail sorting applications, cafeteria badging for point of sales systems, and more.
Technical Solutions Analyst Location: Waukegan ILDescriptionhe backbone of our operations, as a Technical Solutions Analyst. You'll act as a trusted advisor, supporting our diverse portfolio of applications supporting drawing management/CAD, mail and delivery services, facilities, and cafeteria/food services. This client-facing role requires collaboration with diverse stakeholders and vendors. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years’ experience, or master's degree with 8 years of experience
Hands-on experience managing global products and applications, ideally in a GxP or critical infrastructure environment
Previous experience supporting GxP applications, on business intelligence programs or data engineering.
Project management experience in agile or waterfall environments.
Experience in managing the work assignments of contractors or direct reports.
Excellent communication skills.

Serve as the primary contact for assigned technologies.
Ensure the health of assigned production applications.
Manage the rollout of global programs for commissioning & qualification at our manufacturing sites.
Improve customer experience and real-time data usage for site operations.
Understand and enhance business processes and strategies across multiple business units.
Investigate existing systems and industry technologies; develop integrated information management strategies.
Comply with Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
Seek strategic business opportunities for technology application; provide strategic analyses and insights.
