Hours: Part-time

Schedule: Weekdays, Weeknights, Weekends

Essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Positive attitude with a warm personality

• Operating the POS at the front counter

• Taking orders with speed and accuracy at the front counter

• Checking for product quality and consistency

• Take customer orders at the counter

• Receive payments and present change to customer

• Pack food items, and fill beverage cups

• Function as the host/hostess of the restaurant

• Make reservations for customers

• Receive food checks from waiters or customers

• Appeal to impatient or irritated customer, especially during rush hours

• Manage the register, including all credit card and cash operations

• Welcome guests to the Restaurant

• Provide accurate wait times and monitoring waiting lists

• Escort guests to assigned dining area

• Provide menus and recommend specific dining specials

• Greet customers upon their departure “Thank you”

• Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options

• Maintain a clean host/Hostess area

• Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly)

• Answer incoming calls and address guest needs

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation

• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights

• Meet store operating policies and standards and cash handling and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodation

• Comply with a dress code

• Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift

Qualifications

• Read, write and comprehend the English language

• Stand for long periods of time

• Lift, load and carry a maximum of 40 pounds

• Work with cold and extremely hot food products, utensils, dinner plates and glassware

• Work at a pace consistent with changing business volume and demands

• Ability to learn quickly

• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Ability to work as part of a team

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Shift:

• Day shift
• Evening shift

Weekly day range:

• Every weekend
