What are the responsibilities and job description for the Internship - Law Clerk (Summer 2025) position at Stephens Default?
Preferred commitment of 8 weeks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work directly with attorneys in the Legal department on a variety of projects, getting to see first-hand what it is like to work in-house for a highly regulated company.
- Conduct research and draft memoranda of law, revise contracts, review and advise on new regulations, and attend Legal department meetings.
- Assist with litigation proceedings, such as drafting pleadings or prepare for hearings.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Current 1st or 2nd year law student
- Transcript (unofficial copy accepted)
