Multiple Openings for a Mechanical Assembler! Full time role!
Responsibilities:
- Assembles components to create saleable product of all complexities.
- Make sure all guards and covers are installed after paint.
- Performs fit-up welding to secure parts when called out by the print.
- Builds and wires motorized components.
- Makes sure all limit switches are located per print.
- Troubleshoots automated, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic components during assembly process and resolves issues.
- Performs proof test on all units and corrects deficiencies.
- Makes jigs as needed to attach parts to the proof testing equipment.
- Affixes tags and decals to product according to the work instructions in the tagging book
- Grinds and applies touch-up paint to areas in need of clean-up
- Tears down, analyzes and performs Inspect and Advise (I&A) operation of customer-owned units
- Demonstrates our company values in all work activities.
- Complies with all safety rules and requirements.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Eight years mechanical assembly experience
- Three years fit-up welding experience
- Ability to assemble and troubleshoot all our products
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to use voltage meters, amp meters, hand tools, and power tools
- Knowledge of electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read a tape measure
