Job Summary:

- Coordinate and plan weekly production schedules in collaboration with the Materials Management department, ensuring alignment with master scheduling and inventory policies.
- Develop and manage employee schedules to meet production demands efficiently.
- Establish and refine work procedures to achieve production targets and deadlines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer requirements are met on time.
- Conduct quality inspections and measurements, ensuring products conform to specifications.
- Train employees to identify and prevent the shipment of non-conforming products.
- Troubleshoot product quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Optimize production methods, equipment performance, employee efficiency, and product quality through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Resolve employee issues or escalate unresolved matters to the Human Resources department.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Develop capital equipment justifications to enhance quality, cost-effectiveness, and cycle times.
- Maintain accurate time and production records, documenting line inefficiencies and downtime.
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety protocols, and government regulations.
- Actively participate in the production management team.
- High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a bakery or food manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical documents and write reports.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
