Sterling Engineering is Hiring a Quality Manager Near Itasca, IL

Sterling Engineering is a growing engineering and staffing services firm that specializes in placing top engineering and technical talent into their dream jobs. We have partnered with a leading manufacturer near Schaumburg on bringing in a Quality Manager to join their growing team. This person will be a "change agent" in the quality space.
Responsibilities
  • Assist Quality Engineers with tasks such as handling customer complaints, source inspections, audits, etc.
  • Deliver consistent updates on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to both management and staff.
  • Coordinate training needs and maintain documentation for all QC personnel.
  • Offer guidance, training, and leadership to ensure precise and effective inspection processes align with production and customer demands.
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to analyze discrepancies and non-conformances
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering
  • 3 years in a manager level quality engineering role
  • Experience in CMMS
