Location: Tucson VAMC

Position: Full-Time,

Hours of Operation:

• Duty Hours: 2.0 FTEE Ultrasound Technologists required.
• Clinic Hours: 24/7 operations.
• Tours of Duty: Rotating shifts including, but not limited to, 7am-3:30pm, 7:30am-4pm, 8am-4:30pm, and 7am-7:30pm. Coverage will include Federal Holidays and weekends.
• On-Call Hours: Weekdays 4:30pm-8pm; Weekends and holidays 8am-8pm. Standby and callback rates apply.

Position Overview:

We are seeking to identify two full-time Ultrasound Technologists to provide on-call and callback support for the VA in Tucson, AZ. The selected candidates will be responsible for performing ultrasound procedures and providing coverage as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of two years of current experience in ultrasound technology, including recent experience in a hospital setting covering inpatient units, Emergency Department (ED), and Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
• Certification: Certification as a Sonographer from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), or an equivalent credential recognized by ARDMS.
• Licensure: Must be licensed in any state.
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certified.
• Language: Fluent in English.
