Location : Sacramento, CA
We are seeking a Food Sales Representative to join our team. As a purveyor of over 40 premium, all-natural sweet and savory flavors, purees, concentrates, and blends, we sell our products through distributors to foodservice, hospitality, manufacturers, and consumers.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and develop distributors in the CA, NV, and AZ territory
- Identify revenue generating opportunities with distributor accounts
- Develop new business in the territory by identifying new distributors
- Utilize sales reporting, online research, event leads, and other resources to find new business opportunities
- Use Salesforce to track customer engagement
- Coordinate with the Director of Sales to review and analyze sales and budget input for the territory
- Review communication strategy to cover operational support needs
- Manage regional manufacturer leads and development
- Supervise the West Sales Account Manager
- Travel approximately 50% of the time with airport accessibility
Qualifications :
- BA / BS degree
- 3 years of sales experience with foodservice distributors
- Strong sales and account management skills
- Excellent negotiation, organizational, time, and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines within approved budgets
- Experience working with CRM software (Salesforce.com or comparable system)
- Proficiency in MS Suite
Compensation and Benefits :
- Base Salary $80K 20% bi-annual bonus
