Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Senior Audit Accountant in Akron, OH. This position will involve contributing to audit, review, and compilation engagements, and the successful candidate will have a range of responsibilities:

• Active participation in audit projects, from planning to issuance.
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and accompanying notes.
• Thoroughly reviewing workpapers before submitting them to the direct supervisor.
• Developing audit programs, time budgets, and planning documentation.
• Mentoring and providing on-the-job training for staff members.
• Collaborating on special projects as required.
• Providing timely feedback for performance evaluations of staff accountants.
• Participating in select administrative committees and functions.
• Proactively seeking additional projects.
• Demonstrating a wholehearted commitment to our firm's Mission and Core Values.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Prior experience with a Big 4 or Regional CPA firm is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• An impressive academic and professional track record.
• A bachelor's degree in Accounting and eligibility to sit for the CPA Exam (CPA Licensure is highly desirable but not mandatory).
• Proficiency in goal management through collaboration and teamwork.
• Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including creating formulas (V-lookups a plus).
• Strong mathematical and computational abilities.
• Proficiency in applying effective problem-solving techniques.
• A highly positive attitude, exceptional client service skills, and a strong desire for continuous learning and personal growth.
