Pay Rate: $45 to $50 per hour

Job Overview:

Step into a crucial role as a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse in Lawton, OK, where you’ll provide compassionate care during the night shift. This 13-week contract offers an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in a dynamic environment focused on mental health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with behavioral health needs.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans tailored to each individual.
• Utilize your de-escalation training to effectively manage challenging situations and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
• Document patient care accurately and promptly.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in Behavioral Health Nursing is required.
• De-Escalation Training: Highly preferred, bringing critical skills to manage high-stress situations.
• Traveler Experience: Recent traveler experience is highly preferred, ensuring you can quickly adapt to new environments.

Certification Requirements:

• BLS (AHA): Active Basic Life Support certification is required.
• NIH: Certification in NIH Stroke Scale is required.
