Sterlitech is Hiring a Remote Inside Salesperson - MicroFiltration

SUMMARY: As Inside Sales Professional you will be responsible for developing and fostering a relationship with all accounts of your designated product line to grow business organically, to find new business and to achieve annual sales goals within an assigned territory and/or list of named companies.
THIS IS A WASHINGTON OFFICE-BASED POSITION, LESS THAN 20% TRAVEL
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Execute action plan to achieve quota consistently year over year
  • Sell the Value Proposition of Sterlitech to build, maintain and progress a strong pipeline and to obtain revenue goals
  • Responsible for assisting account collection to keep customers AR current
  • Handling customer inquiries and all aspects of customer service
  • Use multichannel interactions (email, phone, chat, LinkedIn)
  • Provide timely follow up to customer orders
  • Developing existing customers relationships
  • Educate customers about Sterlitech product and solution portfolio
  • Problem solve and be resourceful to provide exceptional customer experience
  • Assist customers with escalations for technical support issues
  • Identifying and calling on potential new customers
  • Research and develop prospects into customers
  • Be creative and show tenacity with developing new business
  • Problem solve and be resourceful to provide exceptional customer experience
  • Ask open ended questions, listen and understand customer needs
  • Organize and communicate the details of potential sales orders and ensure adequate stocking levels
  • Maintaining data, sales activity and forecasts in the CRM system 
  • Update customer activity (pipeline, calls, KPIs,….) in CRM daily
  • Update account contact information on a regular basis
  • Provide accurate monthly forecasting and sales reports 
  • Occasional travel related to tradeshows and customer visits
  • Maintain a professional appearance and provides a positive company image
  • Perform work in a manner consistent with all company policy
  • Attend sales meetings and training as required
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management
  • Developing and maintaining industry awareness
  • Provide feedback and input to the organization regarding target markets, new client use cases, and product trends that support expansion of company capabilities and services knowledge
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s degree in a Science (Engineering, Chemistry, Biology) or equivalent industry experience
· 2 years successful track record in business to business direct sales as a contributor carrying an individual quota
REQUIRED SKILLS/CAPABILITIES:
· 2 years Inside Sales experience a MUST
· Experience selling to Labs, Universities, Pharma a plus
· Bilingual Spanish a plus 
· Attentive to forecasting and business reporting responsibilities
· Must possess strong relationship building and selling skills, and excellent customer service skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment and to handle multiple tasks at the same time
· Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
· Computer skills required: Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System (NetSuite preferred), Microsoft Office Suite
· Other skills required:
o Excellent teamwork skills
o Desire to work in an environment rewarding strong ethical standards and conduct
o Works independently
o Time management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines
o Demonstrated ability to anticipate and solve practical problems

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $60,000 to 80,000 annualized, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at Sterlitech, your final base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a generous benefits package, including company paid health insurance, 401(K) retirements savings plan with employer match, 3 weeks PTO per year, and more.
