General Summary:
As a Jr. Producer, you will play a crucial role in supporting and facilitating various aspects of the production process across all brands under the Steve Madden umbrella. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized individual who can efficiently coordinate tasks and resources to ensure the successful execution of projects. The Production Coordinator will work closely with different departments, including production, logistics, and management, to streamline workflows and contribute to the overall success of the production team.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with production manager to plan and execute production schedules.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and resources needed for production.
- Track project timelines and milestones to ensure deadlines are met.
- Manage and update photoshoot calendar on a daily basis.
- Act as a liaison between different departments, fostering clear communication and collaboration.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and external partners to secure necessary resources.
- Keep all stakeholders informed about project progress and potential issues.
- Assist in the allocation of resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Work with the production team to optimize resource utilization.
- Maintain accurate records of project details, including budgets, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Prepare regular reports on project status, identifying any issues or areas that require attention.
- Document and communicate changes to project plans as necessary.
- Identify and address potential issues that may impact production schedules.
- Work with cross-functional teams to find solutions to challenges that arise during the production process.
- Develop a casting strategy that aligns with the project's goals and vision.
- Create a casting breakdown and distribute it to the talent agents, casting websites, and other relevant platforms.
- Advocate for diversity and inclusion in casting to ensure representation.
- Build and maintain relationships with talent agents and managers.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Participate in post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
- Suggest and implement process enhancements to optimize production efficiency.
- Assist producer in managing post production timeline to ensure all deadlines are met.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, production management) or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in a production coordination or similar role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of production processes and industry best practices.
Salary Range:The pay range of this position is $60k - $70k. Actual salary will be determined based off candidate's skill sets, years of experience, and other job-related factors. This range does not include benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, 401K, and additional company benefits
