Optometric Office Staff

Busy optometric practice in Waterford CT is looking for experienced fulltime and part-time staff to assist our patients and other visitors.

Your primary responsibilities include greeting and checking in patients, answering questions, verifying patient info, specific testing (training provided), collecting balances due and co-pays, scheduling/confirming appointments, and data entry. You will help keep records organized and work areas clean, and ensure our office provides a welcoming environment for our patients. Responsibilities may change as you become more knowledgeable about our practice.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday
Work Location: On site / In person position

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA laws.
- Experience with front office operations and customer service principles.
- Organized, detail-oriented, multi-tasker, excellent communication skills.
- Experience with optical products or retail sales is a plus.
