Position: Acquisitions & Underwriting Analyst for a Real Estate Investment Firm

Position Summary:

The Analyst will work with the firm’s leadership team and be responsible for providing underwriting, research, and due diligence support in pursuit of new real estate investment opportunities as well as investment and asset management support for the firm’s existing portfolio.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Assist in underwriting, financial modeling, diligence, and memo preparation for real estate acquisitions and developments.
• Assist in financial analysis, valuation, and tracking of operational performance within the existing portfolio to proactively identify trends and value‐add opportunities.
• Assist with all due diligence relating to new investments, including the review of business plans, third party reports, title/survey, historical financial statements, leases, vendor contracts, and market research
• Directly participate in the support of the asset management of owned real estate investments.
• Conduct market analysis through researching and maintaining internal databases.
• Update and maintain deal pipeline and project management tools.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly / quarterly investment management reporting (internal / external), business plans, investor letters, and other ad hoc investor requests.

Professional Experience / Qualifications

• A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a real estate acquisitions/ underwriting role.
• Bachelor's in Finance or related field required
• Fluent in Spanish is a plus
• Must have advanced Excel skills
