What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Analyst/IT Support position at Stevens Community Medical Center?
Stevens Community Medical Center, a critical access hospital and clinic, has a full-time position available within its Information Technology department for Data Analyst / IT Support. This role will also serve as a key user for our Finance and Business Office teams. This role is responsible for managing reporting systems, supporting the AS400 accounting system, and providing some IT support. The ideal candidate will have
experience in data analysis, and finance system support, with a focus on ensuring accurate, timely reports.
Responsibilities:
- Translate business needs into report specifications, ensuring all requirements are documented accurately
- Design, publish, and schedule reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI and other relevant tools
- Analyze reports and assess data in relation to workflows, recommending improvements to enhance clinical outcomes and drive system changes
- Provide end-user support, including responding to help desk inquiries as needed
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a healthcare (Epic) or financial setting
- Knowledge of SQL or other database query languages
- Experience with clinical and financial report development
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI or similar reporting tool
- Experience with AS400 or similar accounting systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
