Stew’s earned its nickname, the “Disneyland of Dairy Stores” because of its country-fair atmosphere, with costumed characters and animated entertainment throughout the store that keep children entertained while parents shop. Job Title: Multi-Channel Content Manager Location: Stew Leonard’s, Norwalk CT Department: Marketing Reports To: Art Director Direct Reports: Senior Producer, Visuals Video Editor & Photographer Salary Range: $80 - $90K Job Summary As a member of the Marketing Team at Stew Leonard’s, the Content Manager will be responsible for developing and executing multi-channel content for emails, e-commerce, the Stew Leonard’s website, videos, photos, radio, OTT paid content, social, and marketing campaigns with the goal of continuously filling all channels of the COW Wash for sales and growth. Primary Duties And Responsibilities Oversee the creation of diverse content assets, including photos, videos, social media, radio, OTT PAID content, and more to deliver information in dynamic and engaging formats for a wide range of customers. Partner with cross-functional teams, including Stew Leonard, Jr., the COWs team, and others to create content that supports and promotes our “big gun” items on a daily basis across all digital channels. Collaborate with Marketing and cross-functional teams to create compelling content that helps drive sales through our e-commerce channels such as catering, gifts, and Instacart. Work closely with the Digital Marketing Director to leverage and optimize content to be used to better engage existing customers and acquire new customers as well. Collaborate with the Art Director and Social Media & Marketing Manager in the creation of high-quality content production used on social platforms to help drive sales. Track and analyze content performance using relevant metrics and analytic tools and share out results with the Marketing Team and other stake holders as applicable. Must be able to track and share real time video metrics and key performance indicators such as the number of Views, Likes, Shares, Clicks, and conversions. Manage and mentor a small team of content creators, including writers, photographers, cinematographers, and video editors, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and high-quality content production. Develop and manage a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely delivery of high-quality digital and visual content. Be the internal expert on our content library while pitching new ideas, keeping content updated and relevant, repurposing existing content, and recognizing opportunities to expand or improve content strategy. Stay updated on industry trends, market insights, and competitors to identify content opportunities and maintain relevance in the market. Requirements And Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. Proven experience (5-8 years) in multi-channel content creation and marketing, preferably in the food or grocery retail sector. Strong creativity and storytelling skills that align with marketing goals while targeting a customer’s journey. Proficient using Microsoft Suite applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Understanding of current video editing software Premiere Pro in order to provide review feedback to production manager and video editor during the edit process to create cohesive and quality videos. Understanding of pre- and post-production for video and photo shoots. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire creativity amongst the team and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a calendar-driven environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
