Steward Health Care System is Hiring a Plant Operator II Near Phoenix, AZ
Professional Requirements:
| Assists the Director with daily operations of the department |
| Performs a variety of general maintenance task throughout the facility to ensure efficient and safe operation for all systems and equipment. |
| Controls/monitors work flow of department to ensure timely and accurate completions of employee job assignment. |
| Makes changes to the Preventive Maintenance Program, Generates PM/Corrective Maintenance Work Orders, run reports as requested. |
| Provides Training/Orientation for newly hired Maintenance/Plant Operators |
| Provides Director of Plant Operations with input for Performance Evaluations on Plant Operations Staff. |
| Maintains department records in accordance with regulatory agencies requirements. |
| Assigns monthly work schedule to meet the needs of the hospital |
| Meets with contractors, schedules their work, inspects the work site daily for safety and creativeness of repairs. |
| Maintains a verity of plant equipment ( boilers, water softeners, HVAC systems, pneumatic tube systems). |
| Schedules, Conducts, and documentation monthly, weekly, emergency generator, and fire pump tests. |
| Responds to facility codes and repairs calls as needed. |
| Performs a variety of safety inspections throughout the facility and hospital grounds. |
| Performs other duties as assigned |
Education/Experience requirements:
| Minimum Education: High School Graduate or G.E.D |
| Minimum Experience: 3 - 5 years |
