Position Summary :
The Driver and Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of non-CDL trucks for pickups, deliveries, and transfers of parts and materials.
This role also includes operating and testing street sweepers and other equipment to ensure quality standards are met. The Driver and Equipment Operator will also perform general labor tasks and assist warehouse personnel as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, the ability to work independently, and be reliable and punctual.
Schedule :
Monday through Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Inspect, load, secure, unload, and operate trucks (non-CDL) for pickups, deliveries, and transfers.
- Operate street sweepers for testing procedures and deliveries.
- Perform general labor tasks and assist warehouse personnel when necessary.
- Tasks and duties as assigned by management.
Requirements :
- Valid PA driver"s license.
- CDL not required, but drivers holding a CDL are eligible for greater compensation.
- Able to pass a DOT medical exam.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently.
- Reliable and punctual.
Physical Requirements :
- Lift 50 lbs unassisted.
- Operate street sweepers, pickup trucks, and stake body trucks.
- Occasionally operate a handcart, pallet jack, and forklift.
