Position Summary :

The Facility and Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our equipment and facilities.

This role includes detailed cleaning and maintenance of our street sweepers, other equipment, and the entire facility, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

This position supports the operational needs of Stewart-Amos Equipment Co. by performing a wide range of maintenance and cleaning tasks.

Schedule :

Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM.

Key Responsibilities :

Equipment Detailing :

• Clean and detail new sweepers to prepare them for delivery.
• Perform touch-up cleaning and detailing as needed.
• Clean and detail demo equipment.
• Cleaning equipment before and after repairs.
• Regularly clean and detail the company's fleet of vehicles.
• Perform periodic cleaning of other equipment.

Facility Cleaning and Maintenance :

• Perform daily cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
• Conduct weekly deep cleaning tasks including vacuuming and disinfecting common areas.
• Perform thorough monthly cleaning tasks such as high dusting and detailed restroom cleaning.
• Clean windows inside and outside to maintain a clear and professional appearance.
• Deep clean kitchen areas to maintain hygiene and cleanliness.

Grounds and Exterior Maintenance :

• Pressure wash walkways.
• Maintain the yard area by performing tasks such as trimming and general cleanup.
• Take care of the garden bed by weeding, watering, and general maintenance.
• Perform walkway salting and snow clearing in the winter.

Additional Responsibilities :

• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to operate cleaning and maintenance equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift up to 50 lbs.
