THIS IS FOR A FUTURE OPENINGFinance & Administration DirectorDirects and oversees staff in various service departments including Finance, Purchasing, Property, IT, Student Records, Maintenance, and Food Services. Ensures all activities and standards align with the Department of Labor (DOL), Policy and Requirements Handbook (PRH), and company directive.
Essential Functions
  • Supervises departments like Finance, Purchasing, Property, IT, Student Records, Maintenance, and Food Services.
  • Collaborates with department managers to formulate and enforce center and internal management budgets.
  • Ensures accurate and timely submissions of reconciliations, financial reports, and public vouchers.
  • Communicates and ensures compliance with procurement rules and procedures.
  • Assists in developing the Contractor Property Management Plan and ensures timely and accurate inventories.
  • Maintains center facilities ensuring safety and attractiveness.
  • Guarantees student nutritional needs by ensuring they receive well-balanced meals and gathers feedback for meal planning and evaluation.
  • Oversees departmental meetings and tracks performance, communicates senior staff directives and implements corrective measures, ensures compliance with DOL guidelines and the PRH.
  • Engages in PRH mandated staff training and conducts periodic self-evaluations and audits.
  • Delegates tasks effectively to managers and supervisors across departments.
  • Models and mentors students for employability enhancement.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
  • Employees must regularly sit, stand, walk, reach, talk, and listen.
  • Occasional requirements include sitting, hand movements (fingering, handling), tasting, and smelling.
  • The role involves lifting/moving up to 25 pounds.
  • Vision capabilities required include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
  • The role occasionally requires exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
  • While the general noise level is moderate, it can occasionally become loud.
  • Accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.
Required Skills
  • At least three years of management experience, with a preference for those with accounting/finance experience. Equivalent experience may be considered if educational requirements are not met.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License.
Required Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
