We are seeking a dedicated Medical Office administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical or office settings and possess knowledge in billing and claims .
Duties:
Performing administrative tasks such as billing, collections, and office management. Accounts receivable/accounts payable
Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and standards
Collaborate with insurance companies and managed care organizations for billing and reimbursement purpose
Greeting patients in a courteous and compassionate manner
Verifying patients have completed all necessary paperwork
Scheduling patients
Verifying Insurance Coverage
Basic understanding of medical billing a
Collecting payments
Assisting with business expansion
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a medical office is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with patients and staff effectively.
