Job Title: Health Care Specialist (RN) District Wide Float

Job Summary: The Health Care Specialist works alongside the Licensed School Nurse/RN/health paraprofessionals in the Stillwater Health Offices to meet the day to day student health needs. The Health Care Specialist performs health related activities and provides routine health services and emergency procedures for students and staff through an interactive, caring, and supportive manner. The Health Care Specialist will be flexible by working where the need is (one of 13 schools). The position will focus on creating plans of care for students with health conditions, monitoring immunization status of students, medication order management and MA billing, in addition to hands on care provided to students. Requires a RN License through the Minnesota Board of Nursing and CPR Certification.

FTE/Hours per Day: 6.5 hours per day, 186 days per year, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications:

• Licensed by the Minnesota Board of Nursing as a current Associate Degree Registered Nurse (RN) or higher.
• Current certification in CPR/First Aid/AED

Salary/Wage Information: The hourly rate range for this position is $35.53 - $45.20. A generous insurance plan is also included. See attached terms and conditions of employment for more information.
