Position Overview

The Customer Service Specialist is the first point of contact for the guests at Stinker stores. As the face of our stores, Customer Service Specialists provide support by answering questions, providing product recommendations, completing transactions, stocking, and maintaining the appearance of the store. 

Job Duties:

  • Exhibit customer service excellence by fostering a welcoming environment and assisting customers with their needs. 
  • Accurately/Efficiently complete sales transactions and follow appropriate cash handling procedure.
  • Ensure merchandise is stocked, fronted and faced, and priced accordingly.
  • Maintain inventory and proper rotation of products.
  • Ensure that the store is kept tidy and is welcoming to our guests.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 19 years of age or older
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work from eye level to floor level
  • Must be able to stand on a step stool or ladder
  • Must be able to work in a cooler averaging 32 degrees Fahrenheit

Position Overview

The Food Service Specialist is responsible for taking customer orders, preparing menu items, and/or packaging of the food product for the store while maintaining the high standards of the restaurant/store and displaying a friendly attitude.

Job Duties:

  • Follow health and safety guidelines for food storage and handling.
  • Prep food product for the day
  • Learn hot/cold times and temperatures for each food item.
  • Make sandwiches, burgers, and chicken as applicable per store location.
  • Operate kitchen machinery, slicer, mixer, fryers, fryer safety, packaging machine.
  • Receive and inspect product in. 
  • Accurately package and label product. (Food dating).
  • Follow HACCP programs, including verification and documentation of product. 
  • Follow daily cleaning schedules and sanitation procedures.
  • Maintain inventory and proper rotation of product.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to reach, stoop and bend frequently.
  • Some food service experience preferred.
  • Able to follow multi-step directions.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 19 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time

Overview: 

The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the food service and beverage operation. By utilizing the food service team responsible for the efficient execution of all food and beverage programs in compliance with corporate and regulatory guidelines. In combination with the Store Manager, responsible for assisting in training the Customer Service & Support Team Members in the store. Responsible for maintaining a safe, sanitary, and appetizing food service environment ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Job Duties:

  • Ensure a pleasant shopping experience for all customers. 
  • Assist in the response to customer complaints or inquiries. 
  • Assist in the solicitation of customer feedback, input, and information through various communication vehicles.
  • React to information and assists in creating a plan to consistently meet the expectations of all customers.
  • Ensure the 24/7 execution of all food service programs including proper ordering, production planning, product handling and display.
  • In conjunction with the store manager, responsible for meeting and/or exceeding food service and beverage performance and profitability goals according to corporate objectives.
  • Assist with the overseeing of inventory and ordering of product and supplies and ensure routine maintenance and upkeep of the food service equipment and facilities.
  • Analyze food service results and trends. 
  • Prepare action plans to leverage the store's fresh food strengths and address areas of opportunity to ensure food service profitability. 
  • In conjunction with store manager and corporate food service manager, offer advise on all food service marketing programs, campaigns, strategies, and initiatives. 
  • Assist in the execution of the training of food service customer service associates. 
  • Assist with all matters relating to food service associates and the store team - recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, associate engagement, and performance management.
  • Assist with the execution of the corporate training plan for all food service CSAs and effectively conduct hands on training to ensure associate proficiency.
  • Ensure execution of established safety, security, quality, and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 19 years of age or older
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of retail, food service, or convenience store experience.
  • 1 year leadership experience.
  • Scheduling and expense management experience.
  • Successful completion of certification testing as needed.
  • Comfortable working in a cooler with an average temperature of 32 degrees. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., as well as stand, reach, and squat during part/entire shift.
