Job location:
Fort Mill, South Carolina (we will move to Rock Hill, SC in 2025)
Your Duties
· Implement innovative automation / software solutions to improve the productivity of our customers' machine lines.
· Performs project planning parametrization and programming adaption of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for high performance automation systems (visualization, control center, data management, PLC)
· Takes new customer requirements and conceptually transfers the requirements into concept documents for implementation of new product features.
· Leads the start-up of MES solutions in-house as well as on-site at customers in the Americas/USMCA region.
· Coordinates tasks between the customer and the in-house development teams
· Plays an active role in ongoing process and machine optimization.
· Manages the financial side of projects; performs cost estimations, calculations, and quotations.
· Willingness to travel internationally and domestically: 25% (preferred)

· Extends our local After Sales support team.
Your Profile
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in the field of computer sciences, mechatronics, or automation technology
· Progressively responsible project experience in programming and start-up of assembly automation machines
· Programming experience with Allan Bradley or Siemens S7 PLC (other PLC brands like Fanuc or Beckhoff are also welcome)
· Knowledge of high-level language programming (Java, C#, .net or Python) and Software Architecture planning
· Flexible and capable of working in a demanding environment.
· Ability to show technical expertise and understanding.
· Preparedness to demonstrate accuracy, diligence, and cost awareness.
· Independent work ethic, reliability, and willingness to take on responsibility.
· Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Pay
Depending on qualifications, starting at $65,000 p.a.
