Compensation: $106,600-$130,000 per year

- PTO: 4 weeks accrued per year for full-time employees or 5 weeks based on experience (increases with firm tenure).

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- 7 years related experience, preferably within a CPA firm.
- Prior significant supervisory experience required.
- Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor with expert level proficiency in QuickBooks (both online and desktop)
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe Reader/Pro
Essential Duties
- Build training platforms and programs for various staff levels.
- Plan and execute department growth both internally and externally.
- Establish internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.
- Oversee preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
- Oversee the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
- Responsible for tax planning throughout the fiscal year; files annual corporate tax return.
- Audits accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information on the annual external audit.
- Presents recommendations to management on short and long-term financial objectives and policies.
- Provides financial analysis with emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
- Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
- Able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and be a role model to managers and staff.
- Possess proven excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess excellent people development and delegation skills, including training/instruction and engagement scheduling and budgeting.
- Possess executive presence - need to be able to be primary contact for the client, prepare and present presentations to clients and potential clients.
- Possess excellent client development/relationship-building skills.
- Possess excellent decision-making skills.
- Able to substantially take charge of entire engagement.
- Able to resolve complex accounting issues.
- Able to be responsible for business development and marketing.
