is looking for an experienced tag and title clerk in Vienna, VA to help assist our accounting department in providing our customers with exceptional experiences.

Stohlman Automotive, Inc., a distinguished family-owned dealership with a rich history of 80 years serving the DC metro area.

Job Summary :

As an Automotive Tag and Title Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of all vehicle title and registration documents.

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be highly organized, and possess excellent customer service skills.

This is a full-time, hourly administrative role in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities :

  • Process all vehicle title and registration documents in a timely and accurate manner, following state and federal regulations
  • Prepare and submit documents to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) for title transfers, renewals, and other registrations
  • Verify accuracy of information on documents, including vehicle identification numbers, owner names, and lienholder information
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state and federal title and registration laws and regulations
  • Assist with inventory management, including ensuring all titles are received and processed in a timely manner
  • Other administrative duties as assigned by management

Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in automotive title and registration or a related field preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software systems
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Familiarity with state and federal title and registration laws and regulations
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
