PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES Include
- Perform mechanical inspection using manual tools - micrometers, calipers, etc.
- Accurate processing of transaction.
- Basic processing of receiving inspection transactions
- Basic processing of RMAs
- Ability to measure parts to within standard accuracies from engineering prints.
- Desired – Ability to operate and run an existing program on the coordinate-measauring machines.
- Basic understanding of tolerances, and related inspection techniques.
- Understanding materials, part nomenclature, location of engineering drawings etc.
- Ability to read engineering prints and determine proper revision level, material specifications, etc.
- Must operate in a safe, responsible manner, which respects the environment and the health of our
environmental, health or safety values.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.
2 years’ experience performing dimensional inspection of machined details.
Knowledge of trigonometry, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics and their applications
This position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment:
- Work schedule generally consists of 40 hours per week, which may include on-call status,
