Job Duties:

• Supervise all aspects of accounting, including general ledger management, account reconciliation, journal entries, and refining procedures related to accruals, reserves, prepaid account evaluations, intercompany transactions, and maintenance of fixed asset schedules.

• Implement processes & controls.

• Coordinate month-end processes, delegating tasks as necessary, and oversee all bank reconciliations.

• Maintain financial systems, ensuring accurate mapping of accounts and data integrity.

• Assist in providing tax or audit-related information as required.

• Manage payroll processing

• Conduct financial reporting activities, including monitoring accounts, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for business segments.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement enhancements.

• Manage accounting clerk and help teach and train

In this role, you will be expected to:

• Have a basic understanding of accounting
• Invoice clients in accordance with their specific requirements
• Ensure timely collection of Accounts Receivable
• Post bank and credit card transactions to the general ledger
• Reconcile assigned accounts
• Enter and process payroll

Requirements:

• 5 years experience in an accounting manager role

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or business

• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP

• Excel – pivot tables, vlookups and macros

• Experience forecasting financials for managements review
