Network Operations Analyst
Location: Tacoma, WA
Position Type: 6-Month Contract (Fully Onsite)
Office Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Additional Details: No third party vendors, no sponsorship/Visa transfer
About the Role:
STONE Resource Group is representing a leading company in the manufacturing industry seeking an experienced Network Operations Analyst to join their dynamic IT team. This role involves deploying and supporting critical IT infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and leading projects to enhance the company's technological capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Infrastructure Deployment & Support:
- Deploy and support IT infrastructure, including network, servers, voice and data communications, wireless systems, production systems, and phone system hardware.
- Provide onsite and remote support based on the needs of the situation.
Project Leadership:
- Lead IT projects, such as new site builds or acquisitions, ensuring infrastructure needs are met efficiently.
Troubleshooting & Installation:
- Perform onsite and remote troubleshooting and installations, and execute projects to maintain and enhance network operations.
Consultation & Assessment:
- Assess current and future IT requirements, consulting with business leaders and end users in collaboration with Engineering and Architecture teams.
Documentation:
- Develop and maintain up-to-date documentation for network and systems operations.
Must-Have Skillsets:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in roles such as Network Administrator, Systems Analyst, Systems Engineer, or similar IT positions.
- Experience in managing vendors and contractors, including validating scopes of work.
- Hands-on experience with installation and troubleshooting of: Cisco and Meraki switches, routers, access points, Ubiquiti wireless bridges, Servers, IP phones, and production line computer systems.
- Capability to configure, upgrade IOS, and troubleshoot issues using the Cisco command line interface.
Nice-to-Have Skillsets:
- Experience supporting IT within a manufacturing environment or with production systems.
- CCNA Certification
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
