Overview

STONE Resource Group is partnered with a leading company in the Fintech space that is looking to add to their current team by bringing on a Sr .Net Developer to their organization. This is a hybrid, contract/contract-to-hire opportunity that is perfect for someone looking to do fresh .Net development from scratch, while also continuing to help maintain and support some legacy applications as well.

Project Overview/Impact on the Organization

• This project is working on some new feature development as well for several highly visible enterprise applications.
• This is primarily a .Net/Angular role, but they will be touching some Java application so Java would be a nice to have.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop effective, maintainable code on time, aligned with business objectives.
• Design, code, and test (unit and integration) new features & functionality based stories or specifications
• Perform software maintenance and bug fixes on existing code
• Provide work estimates Solutions provided are accurate, thorough, and timely
• Participate in design efforts at a feature level. Articulate trade-offs of proposed solutions at a feature level, by weighing benefits & risks
• Work independently on a feature or subcomponent of a large project
• Work within established methodologies and procedures
• Properly and fully document necessary development artifacts (bugs and features)
• Keep project stakeholders and downstream recipients of deliverables advised of progress and issues
• Ability to recognize risk situations (technical and scheduling) and properly articulate these to management / project management
• Proactively work with the project manager/project lead when updating deadlines are in question
• Adhere to coding standards and guidelines Follow proper code archival and security procedures
• Ensure personally-delivered software integrates well with larger team solution
• Development of a professional development plan that includes the identification of areas of strength and weakness, commitments and objectives for the next 2 quarters. (This plan should follow a standard professional development plan and should be maintained / monitored by both this employee’s mentor and manager)

Must-Have Skillsets

• 5 years related experience (.Net backend and Angular fronted)
• Strong knowledge of appropriate programming and scripting languages – Be proficient in .Net, .Net framework 4.5, WCF or related technology, Angular, AJAX, and JSON, and some type of automated testing frameworks such as Protractor, Selenium,
• Exp with batch processing applications, development, deployments, scheduling, etc.

Nice to Have Skillsets

• Working in an Agile development team
• Knowledge of Financial services and Healthcare automation systems
• Expert Level application dev / programming skills
• 2 years’ experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, Protractor, Ranorex, Test Complete, JMeter, or Soap UI
• Experience with Jenkins and Octopus deploy CICD tools
• Experience with automated security scanning tools such as HP Fortify or RiskSense
