Job Summary:
Stonebriar Chevrolet is currently seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Automotive Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team in Frisco, Texas. This position is a full-time in the auto industry and is an individual contributor role. The Automotive Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing all accounts payable transactions for the dealership.

Responsibilities:
- Process and review all accounts payable invoices and ensure accurate coding, appropriate approvals, and timely payment
- Communicate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve any discrepancies or issues with invoices
- Reconcile vendor statements and maintain vendor accounts
- Prepare and process monthly expense reports for management
- Manage and maintain the accounts payable system and files
- Continuously review and improve accounts payable processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Adhere to all dealership policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of accounts payable experience in the auto industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CDK accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
