Job Description:
We have two openings: Adolecent Experience Required for one position, Adult
Experience Required for the other position
We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our mental health team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care to patients with psychiatric disorders and support their overall well-being.
**Duties:**
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
**Experience:**
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
- Licensed in the state of MI as a Nurse Practitioner
- Proficiency in venipuncture for blood draws
- Knowledge of acute pain management techniques
- Familiarity with pediatric psychiatric care
- Ability to perform spinal taps when necessary
- Experience in adolecence psychiatry
- Experience in adult psychiatry
- Skill in performing gastric lavage procedures
