Job Summary:
We are seeking 2 dedicated Armed Guards to join our team. The Armed Guards will be responsible for protecting our client's premises, assets, and personnel by maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Duties:
Monitor employee/guest access, observe and report suspicious activity and deter unauthorized access.

The security officer must report to the location in full uniform to include appropriate photo identification while on duty.

The security officer must be professional and courteous at all times in the workplace.

The security officer’s post location will be at a desk/table at or near the office main entrance.

The office desk phone provided by the government is for business use only and must not be used for personal business.

The security officer is prohibited from using their personal mobile phone while on duty.

The security officer will review their post orders provided by the government at the beginning of each shift, to include photos of persons prohibited from accessing the office space.

The security officer must maintain a duty log, provided by the government, with hourly entries of their observations.

Completed duty logs must be left in a folder on the post desk/table at the end of each shift.

If prohibited individuals access the office suite, the security officer shall inform the individual that they are not permitted in the space and direct them to leave. If the individual refuses to leave, the security officer shall call local police (911) and ensure the individual does not have contact with any employees/guests.

The security officer is not responsible for physically detaining individuals while waiting for police arrival, but they must contain the situation to avoid further disturbance in the workplace.

The security officer is only responsible for access control of suite 300, this excludes the other building offices/floors.

Uniformed security officer services are required for six months. Services are required from 6am – 6pm (Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays). The security officer is not eligible for the issuance of a Personnel Identify Verification (PIV) card due to the limited period of performance, but all assigned staff must complete and receive a favorably adjudicated (Tier 2) background investigation prior to reporting to duty. Any guard supporting this effort must have a Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET) certification.
