Job Description:

RESPONSIBLE FOR COORDINATING ACTIVITES ON NURSING UNIT IN ADDITION TO DIRECT PATIENT CARE RESPONSIBILITIES
SUPERVISES ALL PATIENT CARE AND SERVES AS A RESOURCE PERSON TO UNIT PERSONNEL
KEEPS NURSING LEADERSHIP INFORMED AS APPROPRIATE
PROMOTES COOPERATION, A POSITIVE ATTITUDE AND CREATES A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR BOTH PATIENTS AND EMPLOYEES
RESPONSIBLE FOR KNOWING AND ADHERING TO ESTABLISHED HOSPITAL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES INCLUDING ALL ASPECTS OF SAFETY

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

THREE TO FIVE YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
BACHELOR’S DEGREE PREFERRED
BLS REQUIRED/ACLS PREFERRED OR MUST TAKE IN 6 MONTHS
THREE TO FIVEYEARS OF TELEMETRY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
TELEMETRY CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
EXPERIENCE WITH HOSPITAL COMPUTER SYSTEM
EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS
CURRENT NYS RN LICENSURE
