DescriptionThe College of Business at Stony Brook University invites applications for an Adjunct Lecturer of Accounting. We are seeking a knowledgeable expert in managerial accounting, financial statement analysis, and/or information security & emerging technology in accounting. A suitable candidate will have expertise in at least one of these areas, ideally in all. Additionally, there may be potential opportunities to teach courses in financial accounting, intermediate accounting, auditing, or tax accounting based on future needs.
Responsibilities
Preferred QualificationsCPA license would be desirable.

- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in accounting (current needs lie in the areas of managerial accounting, financial statement analysis, and informations security & emerging technology in accounting
- Develop course content and materials in accordance with college and area guidelines
- Provide academic support and guidance to students
- Participate in department meetings and activities as required
Preferred QualificationsCPA license would be desirable.
