This position will specialize in Warehousing, where you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of our warehousing services. Your role will involve both strategic planning and hands-on management to meet service level agreements and exceed customer expectations. Essential Job Responsibilities Operational Management: Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize warehousing service delivery. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement. Oversee new customer startups and projects. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, such as logistics, inventory management, and customer service teams, to streamline processes and resolve issues promptly. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences. Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and timely manner. Health, Safety, and Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all warehousing operations. Implement and enforce best practices for equipment maintenance, storage procedures, and workplace safety. Stay updated on relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements. Performance Analysis and Reporting: Analyze performance data to assess the effectiveness of warehousing operations and identify areas for improvement. Prepare regular reports and presentations for management, highlighting key metrics, trends, and achievements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and process enhancements. Experience/ Skills Requirements Proven experience in warehousing operations, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse workforce. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-centric approach. Sound knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and related technologies. Familiarity with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Proven track record of driving operational excellence and achieving business objectives. Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
