Responsibilities:
- Oversee and update chemistry control protocols to ensure the highest standards of product quality and consistency. Manage and maintain comprehensive statistical databases to monitor and analyze chemical formulations, ensuring accuracy and reliability of data.
- Develop and provide strategic formulation goals and objectives for upcoming melt processes, driving innovation and continuous improvement in product formulation.
- Coordinate the flow and consumption of raw materials, ensuring optimal inventory levels and efficient usage. Implement strategies to minimize waste and maximize the utilization of resources.
- Collaborate closely with the operations team to support melt and turnings scheduling. Provide technical guidance and problem-solving assistance to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
- A Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in Visual Basic Programming.
- Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Excel.
- 4 years of experience in chemistry control, with a proven track record of managing and optimizing chemical formulations in a manufacturing setting.
- Prior experience in a plant production environment is strongly preferred, with a deep understanding of production workflows and operational challenges.
- Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is preferred. enabling efficient management of inventory, production, and quality control processes.
