Overview: We are in search of a Senior Product Manager to manage our advanced banking infrastructure, including APIs and integrations with partners in payments, KYC, currency conversion, anti-money laundering, fraud detection, and other essential functions for managing cash flow and preventing fraud. The Senior Product Manager will thrive in a dynamic and fast-moving environment, steering the company through complex global growth initiatives and platform integrations.
This role is located in our NYC office.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the conception, development, and release of products on our marketplace platform.
- Act as a champion of agile methodology, with hands-on experience in its various implementations.
- Motivate and lead a high-performing team of engineers and designers.
- Work closely with the business team to identify critical questions and issues, and develop effective solutions.
- Enjoy the process of rapid prototyping and design.
- Combine qualitative and quantitative analyses throughout the development cycle.
- Promote quick delivery of simple, initial product versions.
- Set and evaluate metrics to gauge product success.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience working directly with engineering teams.
- Deep experience with Agile methodologies in a product engineering context, with the ability to adapt approaches as needed.
- Minimum of 5 years as a Product Manager in a technical product setting.
- Experience in Fintech and building banking systems is highly desirable but not required.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Excellent communication skills, both interpersonal and written, with the ability to engage with key business stakeholders at a high level.
- Proficient in conducting effective and efficient meetings.
- Knowledgeable about cross-functional dependencies and adept at working with teams to achieve product objectives.
- Experienced in project management, process mapping, software and infrastructure architecture, discovery, road mapping, and data-driven feedback loops.
- Capable of translating technical benefits into measurable KPIs and targets.
- Encourage and expect high performance from all team members.
