Director of Origination - Solar Developer (Remote) Company Overview: One of our key clients is an innovative, scaling Energy Storage company focused on the Utility sector. Role Overview: As the Director of Origination, you will lead the efforts to identify and secure new solar project opportunities. This pivotal role demands a strategic leader with a deep understanding of the solar energy sector, a commitment to sustainability, and a proven track record in project origination. You will collaborate with the executive team to define origination targets, form strategic alliances, and drive our project acquisition initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive origination strategy. Identify and target new market segments and regions for project opportunities. Lead project acquisition efforts with innovative strategies and tactics. Form strategic partnerships with key industry players and stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus. At least 8 years of experience in project origination roles, with 3 years in leadership. Proven success in identifying and securing solar projects with a focus on sustainability. Strong strategic, analytical, and leadership skills.
