This is an amazing opportunity for a Software Developer to join a renewable energy trading company who primarily trade around BESS, Solar, and Wind to help reduce grid volatility. They have built an industry leading algorithmic optimization trading platform, focusing on energy storage and renewable assets globally.
In this role, you will work closely with their interdisciplinary teams to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions that enhance their platform and infrastructure. You will contribute to the scalability, reliability, and performance of their systems, ensuring they meet the needs of customers and users. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that is driving the future of renewable energy.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years in a technical role.
- 3 years of experience developing with Python.
- Expertise in Vue.js, API frameworks (like FastAPI, Django), Git, Docker, SQL (Postgres), and orchestration/IaC tools (ECS, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation).
- A transparent, constructive, and proactive approach to technical and interpersonal challenges.
- Strong collaborative spirit, with the ability and desire to work openly with team members.
Primary Duties:
- Work closely with internal teams to identify challenges and design effective solutions.
- Develop and deploy solutions that prioritize simplicity, reusability, and resilience.
- Continuously improve our platform and infrastructure to better meet the needs of our customers and users.
- Participate in rotating on-call support to ensure smooth operation of our systems.
