Job Description
Prospect Place Parking is a parking operator dedicated to providing excellent service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dedicated part-time parking attendant to join our team! We pride ourselves on our unwavering integrity, accountability, and exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all vehicles are the appropriate height to safely enter and exit the garage
- Assist customers, as needed, to complete credit card transactions at the point of sale terminal or utilizing the square payment system
- Maintain point of sale terminal by troubleshooting concerns and replenishing paper
- Become familiar with the surrounding area to provide general information to our guests
- Periodically inspect the garage and display “temporarily full” sign when appropriate
- Maintain cleanliness of the garage at all times
- Report concerns to the Property Manager
- Position or remove barricades to prevent parking in certain spots
- Assist customers to locate their vehicles as needed
- Resolve parking lot disputes that occur between customers
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- One-year related experience
- Ability to read and comprehend verbal instructions and written correspondence
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and through written correspondence
- Ability to provide customer resolution in a professional and friendly manner
- Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with other employees and the parking customer
