Strafford Care Center is actively seeking qualified candidates interested in joining our Nursing Team fulfilling the role of Infection Preventionist Nurse/Medical Records RN/LPN. Ideal candidates will be knowledgeable in their scope of practice, possess strong leadership skills or be willing to learn and develop them, goal oriented, and committed to creating a team that excels. Candidates must possess a valid LPN or RN license in the state of Missouri.

Some duties include but are not limited to;

• Oversight of our facility E-MAR documentation system to ensure resident orders, labs, hospital records, and other required documentation is uploaded to the residents record timely.
• Infection Control and prevetion montioring and reporting including staff and resident education as required.
• Completing audits as required.
• In colloboration with the nursing management team, utilize problem solving skills, to effectively and effiectently improve resident outcomes, improve employee performance, and create a great facility enviroment for our residents and a great work enviroment for our staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

**This position does require on-call time which is divided with the entire nursing management team**
