• Compare data sets in both MS Excel and in our databases, and track / report on results.
• Understanding client requirements, assignment scope, and key deliverables.
• Cross-reference client requests to our SDS library, sort hazardous and non-hazardous items by description, add new SDS to the 3E Library in accordance with department standards, and update classification information.
• Following internal instructions and regulatory guidelines to apply appropriate classification for SDS.
• Provide feedback if SDS is inconsistent. Request feedback / guidance from senior staff when needed.
• Weekly / monthly files delivered to customer should be reviewed for accuracy and completeness, with errors or gaps addressed prior to delivery.
• Adhering to legal regulations, policies and procedures.
• Responding to management requests, completing ad hoc requests, and researching issues as needed.
• Making use of training and process documentation for performing duties. Required technical skills / experience :
• Must have a strong background in working with information management & knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced MS Excel skills.
• Some chemical science education or experience is a plu
