STRAN Technologies is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Representative

Are you looking to be part of a growing company that is providing mission-focused distribution and logistics services for government and enterprise customers worldwide? We are currently hiring an Inside Sales Representative to join our sales team.

Location: This role will be 100% on-site to start at our Carlsbad office. All applicants must be located on the West Coast, preferably located in either San Diego or Orange County.
Compensation: Position is a full-time salaried exempt, and the base salary determination is between $72,994 and $84,005, plus benefits.
OverviewAs an Inside Sales Representative you will be responsible for acquiring new business by engaging with federal and commercial clients over phone and email in offering a variety of telecommunications products, services, and performing lead generation for our worldwide supply chain telecommunication products and services.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct account research and acquire accurate contact information; call, and email, to engage prospects who might be a fit for the telecommunications product, services, and solutions.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage new client relationships .
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls from new and existing customers.
  • Provide an outstanding customer service experience.
  • Address potential customer questions.
  • Achieve your sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Establish relationships with internal departments to ensure client transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a CRM with a high volume of leads and effectively manage an account set, keep detailed and accurate notes of all sales related activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of inside sales experience with government contracting and/or telecommunications or information technology industries.
  • Knowledge of several type of government contract vehicles, such as GSA, GWACs, IDIQ, DIBBS, SAM, Fixed-Price, Set-Aside Programs for Small Business, etc.
  • Strong customer service and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to cold call with assertive, positive, and persistent style.
  • Motivated to reach and exceed quotas.
  • Ability to remain resilient in an aggressive and competitive environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to maintain several accounts simultaneously.
  • Be highly motivated with a growth mind set.
  • Work independently as well within a team environment.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of Tools, especially MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of CRM software, such as Salesforce, Agile, etc.
  • Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Available to work extended hours.
  • Must have the ability to possess excellent communications skills and the ability to write, speak and communicate in fluent English.
  • Successful candidates will be subject to maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Successful candidates will be subject to complete a drug screen and background check.
  • Must be able to initially work from 8:00 AM PST to 5:00 PM PST, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's or Associate Degree in business administration, operations, supply chain management, procurement, or related discipline.
  • Independent self-starter with a strong desire to consistently advance the goals of the organization.
  • Experience using Salesforce is a plus.
  • Experience with government contracts, acquisitions, sales, and services.
Physical Demand & Work Environment:
  • Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
  • Frequently sitting.
  • Occasionally stand/walk, reach/work above shoulders, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, grasp forcefully, use a telephone, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
  • Rarely twist/bend/stoop/squat, kneel/crawl.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively.
