Job Description
Must be bilingual in Spanish and English.
Coordinate the flow, control the handling and storage of raw materials, finished goods and labels through the warehouse by effectively using available areas.
Ensure accuracy of raw materials, finished goods and label inventories. Ensure building, forklifts, and palletizers are maintained at optimum operating levels.
Responsibilities :
Adhere to and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP requirements.
Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety, food safety, environmental, GMP rules, regulations and policies.
Work within the financial guidelines established for the warehouse.
Complete all associated paperwork and reports accurately.
Assign loads from inventory system via computer.
Verify FIFO is being followed.
Communicate with plant management on daily events.
Schedule incoming railcars.
Assist with monthly inventory.
Participate in toolbox meetings.
Other duties as assigned.
