Position Overview: The Assistant Training Coordinator supports the coordination and management of training programs related to Federal Government travel programs and computer-based work. They assist in ensuring the smooth execution of training activities, including setting up meeting spaces with hotels and providing exceptional customer service.
Location: Transportation Safety Institute (TSI), Highway Traffic Safety Division, RTI-70; 6500 South McArthur Blvd Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
· Assist in coordinating and managing training programs for Federal Government travel programs and computer-based work.
· Utilize experience with E2, SATO, and GovTrip travel systems.
· Assist in setting up meeting space requirements with hotels.
· Provide exceptional customer service to all participants.
· Support proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
Qualifications:
· One to three years of extensive experience with Federal Government travel programs (E2, SATO, GovTrip).
· Three to five years of extensive background in computer-based work and data processing.
· Three to five years of extensive experience in using current versions of Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
· Three to five years of appropriate professional knowledge and experience in providing exceptional customer service.
· Three to five years of experience in setting up meeting space requirements with hotels.
· Three to five years of appropriate professional knowledge and experience of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
· Ability to perform duties such as lifting up to 55 pounds, carrying, stooping, and bending.
