Overview:
We are seeking a skilled PLC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will Analyze, modifies, build, rebuild, repairs or overhauls electronic and electrical equipment and controls. Will correct electrical problems to ensure optimal operation of electrical components on equipment. May perform miscellaneous maintenance tasks and may supervise contractors, as required.
Responsibilities:
Utilizing programming background to troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues.
To be part of a team focused on continuous process improvement. Specifically, for this role, done by streamlining operations or workflows through improving or updating current systems and/or through integration with other systems.
Depending on plant management’s decision to expand production line capabilities or purchase new production lines, you will be responsible for conducting feasibility studies to understand the potential ROI of such improvements from a systems perspective.
Plan details of working procedure by determining replacement needs or new material required and develop a logical approach to correct the problem.
Analyze circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings to install, repair, calibrate, service or replace electronic devices and systems.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical or Programming required.
- Proven experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Four years of previous related experience and an understanding of manufacturing operation requirements.
- PC literacy
- High degree of attention and care required to prevent injury to others which responsible for flow of electrical power. Exposed to high voltage electricity.
- Excellent customer service skills for internal support.
