Work Schedule : Monday - Friday, 1st shift.

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000- w/full benefits included

Our customer is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sr. Bookkeeper to join their team. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks for 2 successful restaurants (a 3rd opening in August/September) and catering business. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tax regulations, bookkeeping, and is proficient in using accounting software.

Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing financial statement.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
• Prepare and submit tax forms, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• Assist with payroll processing for 80 full-time employees and 250 part-time and seasonal employees
• Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow statements
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to data protection policies

Qualifications:

• 5 years' experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks accounting software
• Proficiency in using Restaurant Management Software - Synergy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook & Excel)
• Knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) - Square (is a plus)
• Previous experience with processing payroll
• Solid understanding of account reconciliation and GAAP principles
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
