Job Title: Property Manager

Pay Rate: $40 to $60 per hour

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Property Manager to oversee the management of landlord-owned properties in New York City. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in city-required compliances, including plumbing, electrical, and local laws. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and monitoring compliance across 40 to 50 properties, which include both commercial spaces and residential units with only 1 to 5 units per property.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management of all landlord-owned properties within New York City
• Ensure compliance with city-required regulations, including plumbing, electrical, local laws, etc.
• Monitor and manage the overview compliance of each property
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs as necessary
• Inspect properties regularly to ensure they meet safety standards
• Develop strategies for maximizing property value
• Manage tenant relations and address any issues that may arise
• Keep accurate records of all property-related activities

Requirements:

• Proven experience in property management
• In-depth knowledge of city-required compliances in New York City
• Strong understanding of plumbing and electrical systems
• Familiarity with local laws related to property management
• Capability to effectively manage multiple properties simultaneously
• Clear communication skills

Preferred qualifications:

• A valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory
