Do you have experience designing high volume manufacturing equipment?

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a highly profitable, stable business that are looking to revolutionize the lithium-ion cell manufacturing process and platforms.

They design, manufacture & provide equipment that accelerates production of existing and next-generation battery cell technology for electric mobility and other renewable energy industries.

What you will be doing?

Complete machine & equipment designs

Detail component and assembly drawings

Work with technicians to answer questions related to equipment designs and implementation.

Support installation of equipment on Pilot line equipment.

What are we looking for?

Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Minimum of 5 years’ experience designing complex high-volume machinery (any industry considered)

Expert with SolidWorks or similar (prior experience designing stations for assembly machinery, experience creating exploded assembly drawings), including motion analysis and FEA. (Finite element analysis)
